Smoker went from one of Luffy's most notable foes to a complete jobber after the timeskip. He jobbed to Law, had a really tough time with a normal guy like Vergo, then he completely jobbed to Doflamingo. Considering Law can't beat Doflamingo and Luffy beat Doflamingo, it's pretty obvious Luffy would just one shot Smoker now if he tried anything.
